Service Appointments

When you schedule a service appointment, you agree to be present or have an authorized adult (18+) available at the service location. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled time window. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us at least 2 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Estimates and Pricing

We provide free, no-obligation estimates for all services. Our pricing policies include:

Written estimates provided before work begins
No hidden fees or surprise charges
Additional work discovered during service will be quoted separately before proceeding
Emergency and after-hours service may incur additional fees

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept:

Warranty

We stand behind our work with the following warranties:

Labor Warranty: All labor is warranted for 90 days from the date of service
Parts Warranty: Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by product
New Door Installation: Includes manufacturer warranty on door and our installation warranty

Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or failure to perform routine maintenance.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Five Stars Garage Door Repair Missouri shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide safe access to the garage door and work area
Clear vehicles and obstacles from the work area
Disclose any known issues or hazards
Keep children and pets away from the work area during service
Follow maintenance recommendations provided by our technicians

Safety Warning

Garage door springs and other components are under extreme tension and can cause serious injury or death. Never attempt to repair or adjust these components yourself. Always contact a professional for garage door repairs.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms
